GB U17 women’s Head Coach Holly Lam-Moores has named her team for the EHF Under-17 European Championship in August.

The Championship takes place in Klaipeda, Lithuania, from 14-20 August. GB has been drawn in group B together with Ukraine, Finland, Latvia and hosts Lithuania.

The squad, which has been recently formed, is largely self-funded. However, it is also benefitting from some financial support under a joint International Handball Federation/IOC development programme.

Commenting on the upcoming tournament Lam-Moores said “This is a tough group and our young players, who will be participating in their first major tournament, will need to stay very focused.
