Ricardo Vasconcelos, Head Coach of the GB Men’s team has been appointed to the European Handball Federation Expert panel, becoming the first British-based coach to gain this honour.

Commenting on his appointment, Vasconcelos said “I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed an EHF Expert, it is a huge honour. Handball is a passion for me, and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with other people across Europe. It will also be a great opportunity for me to further develop my own coaching and lecturing skills.

BHA Chair Paul Bray added “This is thoroughly deserved. Ricardo is an outstanding coach and we have been extremely fortunate to have him lead the GB men’s team and work on our wider national team strategy. He will be a great asset to the EHF”.
