The handball gets underway at the Rio Olympics from 6 August. The men’s and women’s competitions promise once again to be exciting, full of action and goals.
France and Norway are the men’s and women’s gold medalists respectively from London 2012.
Norway’s women get their campaign underway against home nation Brazil in Group A on 6 August at 13.30 BST. France’s men are also in Group A. Their first match against Tunisia is at 23.50 BST on 7 August.
The women’s quarter-finals take place on 16 August, while the men’s are on 17 August. The women’s semi-finals are on 18 and 19 August, with the Gold and Bronze medal matches on 20 August. The men’s semi-finals are on 19 and 20 August, and the Gold and Bronze medal matches on 21 August.
