British Handball recruiting U20 men’s national team coach

Post published February 9, 2022 (Updated February 9, 2022)

The British Handball is recruiting a new Head Coach for the GB Under-20 men’s team, following the resignation of the current coach, Chris McDermott. The position is offered, subject to annual reviews, until the summer of 2024.

British Handball receives no UK Sport funding for the GB age group programmes and therefore these programmes are self-funded, although some expenses may be covered. The BHA continues to seek commercial funding for these programmes.

At this time target events for this squad will be the 2022 and 2024 EHF M20 European Championships and 2022 and 2024 IHF Trophies.

The attached job description outlines the role, key responsibilities and personal profile. The coach recruited to this position will be expected to start immediately.

If you think you have the necessary skills and experience, and are interested in taking up the challenge, then we’d love to hear from you. Download the job description and send your application letter and CV to office@britishhandball.com by 28 February 2022.
