GB Men’s head coach Ricardo Vasconcelos has named his squad to participate in the EHF EURO 2022 Qualification Phase 1 tournament in Luxembourg from 11-13 January 2019.

The team will attend a short holding camp at Stoke Mandeville on 9-10 January before travelling to Luxembourg where they will play Bulgaria, Ireland and the hosts. Only the winning team in the group will progress to the next round.

Ricardo Vasconcelos commented “We are taking a young team to Luxembourg, with an eye on the Emerging Nations Championship next Summer, and this will be a great opportunity to continue to develop our game and get valuable court time against some experienced opposition”.

The matches will be livestreamed on the Luxembourg Handball Federation website and more details on this will be published nearer the time.
