GB Men's Under-18S Strong Second-Half Performances

GB Men’s Under-18s lost their final two matches in the Under-18 EHF European Championship, against Latvia and Georgia, but again produced strong second-half showings.

GB suffered a 21-26 defeat at the hands of Latvia, but outscored their opponents 13-12 in the second half after going into the break 8-14 down.

Chris White, who scored five goals, was voted GB's best player, while Nate Green also chipped in with five strikes.

GB were beaten 23-31 by Georgia in their final match of the tournament. The score was 11-17 at half time. However, GB matched Georgia goal-for-goal in the second period as both teams found the back of the net 14 times. Chris White was in the goals again with seven strikes, while Nate Green beat the keeper five times. Jack Field, who scored three goals, was named GB’s best player.
