GB Men’s Head Coach Ricardo Vasconcelos names an experimental side for the KamaGames Tri-Nations tournament in Dublin next weekend, where they will play Ireland and the USA.

Just four players remain from the team that reached the semi-finals of the IHF Emerging Nations Championship last June, as Vasconcelos looks to use this tournament as an opportunity to observe new young players who recently joined or have been on the periphery of the GB programme.

Vasconcellos commented “this will be a tough test against Ireland, who we know well and always provide a strong challenge, and the up-and-coming USA who are in the middle of an ambitious development programme.”

He added "We are grateful for this invitation which gives us a chance to test new players and to keep working on our game model and philosophy in a different context than the one provided by home camps.”
