The GB U19 Women’s team will be in Nottingham this weekend for their final training session ahead of the EHF F19 European Championship in Bulgaria.

The squad of 16 for Bulgaria will be announced after this weekend, but it has been confirmed that Cambridge’s Storm Judge will again be team captain.

With regular joint-coach Gary McCafferty unavailable for the European Championship, Morten Helweg will stand-in as assistant coach.

GB coach Bill Baillie commented "It is very exciting now we are in the final preparation stage and close to the selection of the 16 player squad for the EHF Championship. All the players have worked hard this year and we are looking forward to putting the finishing touches to our style and culture.

"Once again thanks must go out to all the players and parents/guardians who have supported the programme immensely. We are a few players short this weekend due to exams and the staff wish all the players good luck at this important time."
