We're pleased to open the recruitment of a Head Coach role for the Men's U18 GB squad. The role will focus on the development of a training and competition programme for a squad of selected U18 men, in line with the BHA Blueprint, and in collaboration with the home nation talent programmes and the GB pathway squads. Activity will focus on squad development through to the EHF Championships in 2026 and 2028 (subject to review) and the IHF Trophies.
Overall Purpose of the Job:
• To lead the development of a high-performance training and competitions programme to participate in the 2026 and (subject to review) 2028 M18 European Championships and IHF Trophy
• To search for, select, develop and maximise the potential of the GB age group players and to increase the number of players reaching the very highest levels of international performance as evidenced by results in milestone events
• To design and implement high quality training and competition programmes with the aim of peak performances at multi nation, European Championship and World Championship age group events
• To work closely with all support partners to implement a multi-dimensional support programme incorporating selected experts in the delivery of sports science and medical support, ensuring the needs of players and coaches are met
