Senior Women - World Championships Phase 1

The 2025 Women's World Championship qualification Europe tournament Group 1 will take place between 25 and 27 October 2024 in Siauliai, Lithuania.

Having completed a training camp in Denmark last week, the team will be arriving in Lithuania on Wednesday 23rd October to compete in this phase 1 stage.

QUALIFICATION EUROPE PHASE 2:

Germany, Netherlands, France and three best ranked teams from the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 in

AUT, HUN, SUI qualify directly for the 2025 Women’s World Championship in Germany and Netherlands.

The winners of the Qualification Europe Phase 1 will play against the teams coming from the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 in a KO-system (play-off matches) with first and second leg matches as follows:

Head Coach Mark Hawkins says: "It's a great challenge for us to participate in this World Championship qualification. We play two good teams who were both in the mix to qualify for the EHF Euro 2024. We have had some great chances to gain experience for this young group in the last year, and it's great to be able to put it to the test in official competition to mark our progress."
